CATEA identifies, designs, and develops devices and systems to help people with disabilities be more productive in the workplace, specifically, the design of products and environments to be usable by all workers, to the greatest extent possible.

Workplace Accommodations Rehabilitation Engineering Research Center (Work RERC)

The Work RERC engages in a comprehensive program of research, development, training, technical assistance, and information dissemination to enhance community participation of people with disabilities through changes in the work environment.

This is the National Public Web Site on Assistive Technology which offers extensive up-to-date assistive technology (AT) and disability-related resources, including in-depth AT reports, as well as four easy-to-use search features to find assistive technology to meet your needs. AT manufacturers and vendors can register for free to add their products to the assistivetech.net database.

The CATEA Consumer Network

The CCN is a network of people with disabilities, their families and friends. Members of CCN test new prototypes, products and services for people with disabilities in order to improve them through focus groups, field-testing and surveys.
