Biography:

Robert L. Todd is a Senior Research Scientist at the Georgia Institute of Technology’s Center for Assistive Technology and Environmental Access (CATEA). He holds an M.S. degree in Information, Design and Technology from the Georgia Institute of Technology, as well as an M.S. degree in Rehabilitation Counseling from Georgia State University. He is the project director of the SciTrain project and the former Georgia Tech Research on Accessible Distance Education (GRADE) project. He directs related research on the usability and accessibility of online resources and is an instructor for the College of Architecture and College of Computing as well as Georgia Tech's continuing education program. His current research focuses on the accessibility of online education for all students and web usability/accessibility.

  • unfolding Web technologies, especially those with accessibility applications
  • Web design to maximize both usability and accessibility
  • accessibility issues for all human-computer interfaces, especially those delivered via the Web

  • creation of online museum galleries and pieces
