Traci Swartz , OTD, OTR/L is a licensed Occupational Therapist with over 15 years of experience in multiple settings, both clinical and administrative, including acute care, driving rehabilitation, and hand therapy, as well as with children and adults with developmental disabilities. She has also developed and conducted both online and on site educational courses for therapists, consumers, and other health care professionals in the areas of home modifications, universal design and assistive technology. Traci is currently a Research Scientist with Georgia Tech’s Center for Assistive Technology and Environmental Access (CATEA) and an investigator for their Rehabilitation Engineering Research Center on Workplace Accommodations (Work RERC). Her involvement includes research projects related to remote workplace assessments and transfer aid safety, as well as development and implementation of training related to assistive technology and home / workplace accommodations.
