Faculty, teaching assistants and tutors are invited to attend this workshop for teachers of students with disabilities. Instructors will receive the knowledge they need to accommodate disabled students in laboratory environments.
The workshop, part of a series of three, is sponsored by SciTrain U., a multi-faceted project to enhance the capacities of science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) faculty and staff in postsecondary education to educate students with disabilities. The project is a partnership between Georgia Tech’s Center for Assistive Technology and Environmental Access (CATEA) and the Center for the Enhancement of Teaching and Learning (CETL) and the University of Georgia’s (Disability Resource Center (DRC)). It is funded under grant award number P333A080022 from the U.S. Department of Education, Office of Post-Secondary Education.
