2008-03-10 - The 24th International Seating Symposium, held March 5-8 in Vancouver, addressed current and future developments in the areas of seating, positioning and mobility for people with disabilities. Topic areas include service delivery, product development, research and evaluation. The format for the symposium included plenary, poster, instructional and paper sessions. Three CATEA researchers made presentations at the symposium. Sharon E. Sonenblum presented a paper called “Understanding Wheelchair Use Patterns: Tilt-in-Space,” and Kim Davis and Dr. Stephen Sprigle delivered “The Science of Interface Pressure Mapping: Updates for Clinical Application.”
