This slide and the next two deal with one of the significant difficulties in discussing disability among any age segment - that there are many disabilities found to differ among different age groups with very little dominance of any one disability, affecting people of various ages differently. While one in five individuals in American society has a disability - now estimated at 60 million people - those people differ widely in their disabilities and in the effect of that disability.
