Activity limitation is the descriptor of disability. As stated, disability has a greater frequency with advancing age. Generally speaking, regardless of personal attendance to health through the lifespan, there will be some level of disability even if at a moderate level. As shown, more than half of the growing population of people over the age of 85 experience activity limitations resulting from disability.
