Separation of Groups of Controls permit easier identification of function...

• This security panel provides controls segregated by function with zone check buttons on top nearest the screen.
• Function buttons are the next level- note also differentiation of orientation and color of buttons.
• The last level- in a sequential array- are the signaling buttons for fire, security and emergency.

Another version of the security system control provides a different but equally successful solution to the positioning of controls. This device groups the controls by function using level variation. The figure to ground ratio is of sufficient contrast to provide appropriate visibility and legibility.
