This change in floor surface has been created to contain water overflow from showers in a public bathing area in a gymnasium. No empathic lens is necessary to illustrate the apparent hazard it presents virtually to anyone, but especially to an older adult. Lighting levels seem even in this photograph, but the unmarked edge fades from view.
