New Survey on Outdoor Wheelchair Propulsion And Wheel Lock Usage

Image of Wheelchair

This survey is designed as part of a graduate research project for CATEA employee, Jonathan Jowers. The results of this survey will aid in Jon’s research for the design of a braking system for manual wheelchairs.

Jon wants to learn about your experiences using manual wheelchairs while propelling outdoors, and your use of wheel locks and brakes. For this survey, wheel locks are defined as similar to the parking brake on a car, engaged once you are stopped. Brakes are defined as a way to slow down your wheelchair.

This survey is about the use of manual wheelchairs only. The survey should take about 5 minutes of your time. The survey can be taken at http://www.surveygizmo.com/s/94561/brakingsurvey
